Many people enjoy working on cars as a hobby or as a way to take what they’ve got to make it better, but rarely will someone go to the level that this guy has. You’re about to meet a Lithuanian man with a lot of ingenuity and about as much time on his hands, who uses his talents to take junkyard vehicle finds to turn into unbelievable “million dollar” cars!
Instead of just fixing the cars up enough to run smoothly, he creates these custom body and interiors that create the illusion of pure luxury, and those illusions are incredibly believable. These images are from his work on a beat-down Mercedes-Benz CLK-Class, which he uses like an artist with a canvas.
Using a multitude of different techniques, he blends together froth, cardboard and a whole list of other mediums to completely recreate this once proud car.
Can you imagine how much time and dedication it would take to NOT make a mistake that would cause you to start all over? With just one little detail off on one side the illusion is shattered, but he’s not had showrooms purchase his work before for no reason!
All that work and the recreation is complete and you’d never even know most of the parts and pieces were technically fake, that’s how you know you’re seeing a true master’s work.
